We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our esteemed team at Borgarfjordur Community Music Ensemble in the Eastern Region of Iceland. If you have a passion for craftsmanship, love for music, and an eye for detail, then this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Handcrafting and assembling a diverse range of musical instruments with precision and care, ensuring top-notch quality.
Collaborating with the design team to implement innovative and artistic ideas into instrument construction.
Inspecting, testing, and fine-tuning finished instruments to ensure they meet our exacting standards.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality protocols.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes through valuable insights and suggestions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in woodworking, metalworking, or related craftsmanship demonstrating high attention to detail and quality.
A profound appreciation for and understanding of music and musical instruments.
A keen eye for design and aesthetics, coupled with a strong sense of creativity.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Strong dedication to craftsmanship, punctuality, and reliability.
