Position Available: Wildlife Discovery Specialist
Glarus Adventure Expeditions is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Wildlife Discovery Specialist. As a Wildlife Discovery Specialist, you'll have the unique opportunity to work closely with diverse fauna, creating engaging and educational experiences for our guests.
About Glarus Adventure Expeditions:
Located in the picturesque region of Glarus, Switzerland, our company is committed to showcasing the natural beauty and wonder of the environment. We believe in fostering a deep appreciation for wildlife and their habitats through interactive and environmentally conscious adventures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading wildlife discovery tours and expeditions
- Developing and implementing educational programs focusing on local wildlife
- Ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care
- Collaborating with the research team to support wildlife conservation efforts
- Engaging guests through informative presentations and demonstrations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, environmental science, or related field
- Proven experience in wildlife management or related areas
- Passion for wildlife conservation and environmental education
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and German; additional languages a plus
