Role Overview:
- Develop and implement advanced strategies for avalanche risk assessment and mitigation
- Collaborate with outdoor adventure enthusiasts, professionals, and organizations to provide cutting-edge safety solutions
- Contribute to the creation of media content to raise awareness about avalanche safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced technological tools and methodologies to assess and analyze avalanche risks
- Design and conduct specialized avalanche safety courses for individuals and groups
- Produce engaging and informative content in various media formats to promote safety awareness
- Engage in public speaking and educational outreach to advocate for best practices in avalanche safety
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in avalanche risk management and safety protocols within outdoor/ mountainous environments
- Proficiency in utilizing technological advancements and software for risk analysis and safety planning
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences
- Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage
