We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as an Aviation Heritage Curator, where you will be responsible for overseeing and curating our collection of historically significant aviation artifacts. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation and presentation of aviation history within the context of our esteemed gallery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and maintain the aviation heritage collection, ensuring proper conservation and display of artifacts.
  • Develop and implement innovative exhibition concepts to engage visitors and enthusiasts alike.
  • Conduct detailed historical research to enhance the context and significance of exhibited aviation pieces.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to organize aviation-related events, lectures, and educational programs.
  • Contribute to the acquisition and documentation of new aviation artifacts through strategic outreach and negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in History, Museum Studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in aviation history and a deep understanding of key milestones in aviation and aerospace.
  • Proven experience in curatorial roles within museum environments, with a specific focus on aviation heritage.
  • Exceptional research and communication skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail and historical accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and coordinate with various stakeholders.
