Port of Palma is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the role of Production and Operations Manager, supporting our thriving manufacturing enterprise.

As the Production and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency and quality control while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. This role provides a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations within the Balearic Islands.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing production schedules and workflows to meet demand and optimize resource utilization
Managing a team of production specialists, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Monitoring product quality standards and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Identifying opportunities for cost reduction, waste minimization, and overall efficiency improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of production processes and quality management systems
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficient in project management and resource allocation
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
