Position: Advanced Technology Engineer
Location: Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Kraken Robotics is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Technology Engineer to join our innovative team. As a leader in ocean technology, we are dedicated to advancing marine automation and robotics. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and development of next-generation ocean robotics systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced technologies into our manufacturing processes
- Formulate and implement efficient manufacturing techniques to ensure high-quality and reliable product output
- Research and assess new technological advancements relevant to our industry
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and refining of advanced systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Proven experience in product development, with a focus on complex electro-mechanical systems
- Proficiency in software development and control systems would be a strong asset
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials, particularly as they relate to marine applications
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to innovation
