Save the Elephants is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Supply Chain Manager. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless movement of goods, ensuring the efficient transportation and logistics operations that support our mission to protect and preserve the majestic elephants of Kenya.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that optimize the flow of resources
- Manage and coordinate transportation services to meet organizational needs
- Oversee inventory management and warehousing processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline supply chain activities
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding transportation and logistics
- Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team of logistics professionals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a conservation or wildlife protection setting
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
