Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center invites applications from forward-thinking, socially responsible professionals to join our team in creating a healthier, more sustainable future for all. We are seeking an individual with a passion for environmental stewardship and a strong background in project development and management. As we expand our campus and facilities, we are looking for a Sustainability Project Manager to ensure that our construction and infrastructure development align with our commitment to environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives for ongoing and upcoming construction projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate green building practices and renewable energy solutions
- Oversee compliance with environmental regulations and green building standards
- Research and recommend innovative, environmentally-friendly materials and technologies
- Evaluate and report on the environmental impact of construction activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in sustainability-focused construction or real estate development
- Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable building frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices
