Connecticut League of Conservation Voters is seeking a Biodiversity Conservation Specialist to join our team!

Position Overview:

As a Biodiversity Conservation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our efforts to safeguard and promote the diverse ecosystems across the world. You will work collaboratively with conservation partners, governmental bodies, and local communities to develop and implement strategies that support biodiversity conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and analyze global biodiversity trends and threats
Design and execute comprehensive conservation projects
Establish and maintain partnerships with international organizations
Advocate for sustainable wildlife management and protection policies
Educate and engage the public on biodiversity conservation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, biology, or related field
Proven experience in international conservation work
Strong communication and networking skills
Passion for environmental advocacy and policy development
Ability to travel internationally
