Join Us as a Pet Care Specialist
Are you passionate about caring for living creatures and want to make a meaningful impact? Yonne Community Theatre is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Pet Care Specialist. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for the wellbeing and happiness of our furry cast members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive care and nurturing to our animal performers
- Implementing and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in accordance with industry standards
- Collaborating with trainers and handlers to ensure optimal performance and health for our animal actors
- Administering medications and following prescribed treatments as directed by our veterinary partners
- Participating in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in animal care and handling
Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an individual with a deep respect and empathy for animals, possessing a proactive and nurturing approach to their wellbeing. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail, exemplary communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in animal care is a plus but not a strict requirement. We value candidates with a growth mindset, willing to learn and grow within our organization.
