Adventure Experience Curator
We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as an Adventure Experience Curator at Austurland Agriculture Cooperative in Iceland's Eastern Region. As an Adventure Experience Curator, you will be responsible for crafting unique and immersive experiences that showcase the natural beauty and cultural heritage of our region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop customizable adventure itineraries for visitors
- Forge partnerships with local businesses and attractions to enhance the overall tourist experience
- Create engaging storytelling and educational experiences around regional agriculture and traditional practices
- Provide personalized guidance and assistance to visitors throughout their stay
- Conduct insightful research to stay updated on industry trends and traveler preferences
Requirements:
- Passion for adventure, nature, and sustainable tourism
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Icelandic or other languages is a plus
- Understanding of agricultural practices and local cultural heritage
- Prior experience in tourism, event planning, or related fields is preferred
