Stewart Island Art Gallery is currently seeking a passionate individual to join our team in the unique role of Conservation Area Supervisor.

Role Overview: As a Conservation Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for the stewardship and management of our diverse conservation areas. Working closely with our team, you will oversee the sustainability and development of these areas while maintaining a focus on preserving our natural heritage.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementing sustainable land management practices
Developing and executing conservation initiatives
Monitoring and maintaining ecosystem health
Engaging with local stakeholders regarding conservation efforts
Supervising and coordinating conservation projects
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards

Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental management, ecological conservation, or related fields. Experience in land stewardship and a strong understanding of local conservation practices are highly desirable.
