We are looking for an innovative and dynamic individual to join our team at UNICEF Kenya in Rift Valley. As a Rural Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving sustainable and impactful agricultural initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative agricultural programs in rural communities
- Work closely with local farmers and stakeholders to promote sustainable farming practices
- Provide technical expertise on rural development projects
- Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored solutions for rural communities
- Collaborate with government agencies and NGOs to foster agricultural and rural development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, environmental studies, or related field
- Proven experience in rural development or agricultural projects
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in rural communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems
