Position: Community Arts Coordinator

Location: Louisiana, United States

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community-based art projects that aim to promote mental wellness and resilience.
  • Collaborate with local artists, schools, and community organizations to facilitate creative workshops and events.
  • Coordinate and manage art exhibitions showcasing the work of individuals focusing on mental health and well-being.
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of art initiatives on community mental health and make recommendations for future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Therapy, Community Arts, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing and leading community art programs or events.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse community groups.
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and an understanding of its intersection with creative arts.
