This position plays a vital role in our commitment to fostering positive mental health through the use of art and creative expression.

Position: Community Arts Coordinator

Location: Louisiana, United States

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community-based art projects that aim to promote mental wellness and resilience.
Collaborate with local artists, schools, and community organizations to facilitate creative workshops and events.
Coordinate and manage art exhibitions showcasing the work of individuals focusing on mental health and well-being.
Evaluate and assess the impact of art initiatives on community mental health and make recommendations for future projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Therapy, Community Arts, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in organizing and leading community art programs or events.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse community groups.
Passion for mental health advocacy and an understanding of its intersection with creative arts.
