We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Aston Hotels & Resorts in beautiful Hawaii. As a Legal Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our company's adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting our operations
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor and assess compliance risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance in various areas, such as contracts, employment, and intellectual property
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify potential compliance issues
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in legal compliance or a similar role is preferred
