Associate Director of Community Advocacy
Cúram Family Centre, located in the heart of Connacht, seeks an experienced professional to join our team as the Associate Director of Community Advocacy. At Cúram, we are dedicated to creating a more just, equitable, and compassionate society through our multidisciplinary work. Our mission is to empower vulnerable families and individuals, providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage strategic legal initiatives
- Develop and oversee advocacy programs to address systemic issues affecting the community
- Advise on policy advocacy to promote social justice and equitable access to legal resources
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive change and support the community
- Contribute to the development and implementation of outreach programs
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in community advocacy, policy analysis, or related fields
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams toward collective goals
- Proven success in leading and managing complex projects
- Passion for social justice and commitment to making a positive impact on the community
- Understanding and respect for the complexities of working with vulnerable populations
