This unique and vital role focuses on ensuring the well-being and care of living creatures, working towards fostering a positive environment for animals within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain animal welfare programs and initiatives
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of best practices for animal care
- Collaborate with local agencies and organizations to advocate for animal rights
- Provide training and guidance to staff and volunteers on animal welfare protocols
- Monitor and evaluate the health and living conditions of animals within our care
- Contribute to the development of educational resources to promote responsible pet ownership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in animal care or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for animal welfare and advocacy
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Knowledge of relevant local animal welfare regulations and guidelines
