Kuopio Energy is a leading clean energy company based in Pohjois-Savo, Finland. Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions for a greener future. As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, we are expanding our team and looking for a Sustainable Adventure Coordinator to join us.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage sustainable adventure tours and experiences in the Pohjois-Savo region.
Collaborate with local communities, businesses, and stakeholders to promote eco-tourism.
Create innovative itineraries that showcase the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region.
Implement responsible travel practices to minimize the environmental impact of our adventures.
Educate and engage customers in sustainable tourism practices.
Train and guide staff and partners on sustainable practices and principles.

Requirements:

Proven experience in the tourism industry, preferably in adventure tourism.
Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation.
Strong knowledge of the Pohjois-Savo region and its attractions.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and forge partnerships.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English and Finnish.
First aid and wilderness training certifications are preferred.
