Position:
Curatorial Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with artists, art collectors, and gallery owners to develop and organize art exhibitions
- Conduct research on various art forms, artists, and art movements
- Assist in the selection and display of artistic works
- Develop and maintain relationships with artists and art organizations
- Coordinate logistics for art shows, including installation, lighting, and promotional materials
- Conduct assessments and guide artists in improving their work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in art history, fine arts, or a related field
- Experience in curating and organizing art exhibitions
- Strong knowledge of different art forms, art collectors, and art history
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
