We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team at KZN Blind and Deaf Society Vocational Training Center, based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. We have an exciting opportunity for an Adventure Facilitator to make a difference in the lives of individuals with visual and hearing impairments.
Your Role:
- Plan and execute exhilarating outdoor activities that promote physical and mental well-being
- Work closely with individuals with visual and hearing impairments, empowering them to overcome challenges and discover their potential
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for participants to learn and grow
- Facilitate team-building exercises and develop interpersonal skills through interactive games and activities
Your Qualifications:
- Passion for adventure and bringing joy to others
- Experience in leading outdoor activities or working in a similar environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different needs and abilities
- Sensitivity and understanding towards individuals with visual and hearing impairments
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain one
- Relevant qualifications in adventure sports or related fields are a plus
