Your Role:

As a Creative Content Producer at UCT, you will be responsible for producing engaging and impactful content that showcases the university's vision, achievements, and activities. Your role will involve conceptualizing, planning, and creating various types of multimedia content, including videos, articles, social media posts, and digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Create compelling video content, ranging from promotional videos to educational material, by scripting, shooting, and editing.
Write well-researched articles, press releases, and blog posts that highlight UCT's initiatives and milestones.
Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accurate representation of UCT's messages.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within strict deadlines.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in content creation, storytelling, and multimedia production.
Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and content optimization.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
