Role and Responsibilities

Design and develop custom software applications tailored to our specific needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Explore and implement innovative digital solutions to enhance orienteering experiences for our members and participants.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies and plan for future advancements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in technology and provide strategic recommendations to the organization.
Actively participate in system upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
Conduct regular testing, quality assurance, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal system functionality.

Skills and Qualifications

A strong background in software development, with proficiency in multiple programming languages.
Extensive knowledge of database systems, APIs, and web services.
Experience in building scalable and secure applications using cloud platforms.
Ability to problem solve, analyze complex issues, and provide creative solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
A passion for orienteering or an interest in outdoor sports would be an advantage.
A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
