Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Pet and Animal Care Specialist to join our team in Florida. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care for pets and animals, ensuring their well-being and overall happiness.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor the health and behavior of pets and animals under our care
- Provide dietary guidance and ensure proper feeding routines
- Develop and implement exercise plans tailored to each animal's needs
- Create and maintain detailed records of individual animals
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in animal living areas
- Handle and restrain animals with care and compassion
- Assist in grooming and bathing animals
- Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or concerns
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Passion for working with pets and animals
- Prior experience in animal care, veterinary field, or related industries
- Deep understanding of animal behavior and health
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and individually
- Physical stamina to handle large and energetic animals
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Certifications related to pet and animal care are a plus
