We are currently hiring for the position of Excursion Experience Coordinator.
About the Position:
As the Excursion Experience Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have memorable and exceptional experiences during their visits to Norway. Your primary responsibility will be to design, plan, and coordinate unique excursions that showcase the beauty and cultural richness of our region. You will work closely with local tourism providers, develop engaging itineraries, and oversee the seamless execution of excursions.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute innovative excursion programs tailored to the interests of different target groups.
- Liaise with local tourism organizations and establish partnerships to enhance the quality of our excursions.
- Research and select suitable locations, activities, and attractions to showcase Norway's tourism potential.
- Develop comprehensive itineraries, including transportation logistics, accommodation, dining arrangements, and program schedules.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and take necessary precautions to protect participants during excursions.
- Supervise excursion staff, including guides and support personnel, and provide necessary training as required.
- Monitor and evaluate excursion programs, gathering feedback from participants and making improvements based on their experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote excursions and develop engaging content for website and brochures.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including budgets, expenditures, and participants' records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in designing and organizing tours, excursions, or experiential travel programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring seamless execution of excursions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, additional language skills are advantageous.
- Passion for travel, culture, adventure, and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to others.
