Camelot Cellars & Winery, a leading winery and tasting room in Ohio's prestigious wine region is seeking an Experienced Wine Educator to join our team. We invite individuals with a passion for the art of winemaking and a dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Conduct wine education and training sessions for our valued customers, helping them expand their knowledge and appreciation of wine.
Create engaging and informative wine educational materials, such as tasting notes and guided wine tours.
Collaborate with the winemaking team to develop educational events that showcase the unique qualities of our wines.
Host private wine tastings, addressing specific interests and preferences of guests.
Respond to customer inquiries, providing expert advice on wine selection and food pairing.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in winemaking techniques to enhance educational offerings.

Requirements:

Proven experience in the wine industry, preferably as a sommelier, wine consultant, or in a similar role.
Extensive knowledge of wine regions, grape varieties, and wine production methods.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills to engage and captivate audiences of varying sizes.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex wine concepts to diverse audiences.
Passion for teaching and sharing expertise with others.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
