Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Animal Care Specialist to join our professional team. As an Animal Care Specialist at Hohenstein Group, you will be responsible for providing expert care and support to a variety of pets under our care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular health inspections and assessments of animals
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Oversee feeding routines and dietary requirements
Ensure appropriate exercise and engaging activities for pets
Monitor and maintain clean and hygienic living conditions
Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
Provide gentle handling and socialization opportunities
Collaborate with veterinarians and assist with medical procedures
Document animal behavior, health, and progress

Requirements

Highly passionate about animal welfare
Relevant degree or certification in veterinary science, animal care, or related field
Proven experience working with a wide range of animals
Strong knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and health
Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
