World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking a passionate, dedicated individual to join our Life-Guard Team. We are currently hiring for the role of Animal Wellness Specialist, responsible for promoting the well-being of creatures that bring immense joy and companionship to our lives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement animal welfare programs and initiatives to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
Conduct research on various aspects of animal health and share findings with a global network of veterinarians and experts.
Educate pet owners on responsible animal care practices, including nutrition, exercise, and preventative healthcare measures.
Collaborate with local communities, veterinary professionals, and animal shelters to provide support and resources.
Assist in ensuring compliance with national and international animal welfare regulations and standards.

Requirements:

A degree in veterinary medicine with a specialization in animal health and welfare.
Experience in the animal wellness field, including working with pets, farm animals, or wildlife.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to promoting a harmonious relationship between humans and animals.
Knowledge of current trends and developments in animal wellness and a willingness to stay updated in this area.
Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills being advantageous.
