Position: Veterinary Medication Specialist



The Normandy Association of Addiction Treatment Centers is a leading organization dedicated to providing care and support for individuals struggling with addiction. We are excited to extend our services to the realm of animal health through our new subsidiary initiative.



We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Veterinary Medication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized care and assistance to animals who require addiction treatment.



About the Position:

  • Collaborate with our expert team of veterinarians and addiction specialists to assess and design personalized treatment plans for animals struggling with addiction.
  • Ensure the safe administration and monitoring of medication prescribed to animals, while maintaining accurate records of treatment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to address addiction issues among pets.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in veterinary addiction treatment.
  • Provide education and support to clients, including pet owners, regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and long-term care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field.
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in France.
  • Prior experience in addiction treatment for animals is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology and ability to confidently administer medication to animals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing the highest standards of care.
