Job Opening: Animal Enrichment Specialist

Job Location: Texas, United States
Department: Enrichment Solutions
Position Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Design and develop interdisciplinary enrichment solutions that promote the physical and mental well-being of animals
Conduct research on animal behavior and implement evidence-based practices
Create and deliver training programs to animal caregivers, educating them on enriching activities
Collaborate with veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of animal care
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of enrichment programs, making necessary adjustments
Maintain detailed records and documentation for enrichment protocols

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Animal Science, Wildlife Biology)
Experience working with animals in a professional capacity
Strong understanding of animal behavior and welfare
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and organizational skills
