Position: Sustainable Animal Care Specialist

Job Description:

Responsible for the comprehensive care and well-being of animals in our center
Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact, such as efficient use of resources and waste management
Assist in the development and implementation of programs promoting responsible pet ownership and wildlife conservation
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of animal enclosures and the facility
Provide necessary medical treatment, vaccinations, and grooming as required
Educate visitors about animal welfare, conservation, and sustainable practices
Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the highest standard of animal care
Participate in rescue operations and assist with capturing, handling, and transporting animals when needed

Qualifications:

Prior experience in animal care or related field is preferred
Familiarity with sustainable practices and environmental concerns
Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Physical stamina to handle animals of varying sizes and temperaments
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and weekends as required
