Position: Travel Logistics Coordinator

As a Travel Logistics Coordinator at Glarus Sustainable Tourism, you will be responsible for managing the behind-the-scenes tasks that make our sustainable travel experiences possible. Your attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to collaborate within a team will be crucial in guaranteeing the seamless execution of our services.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate transportation arrangements, including bookings, vehicle preparations, and driver schedules.
Oversee the efficient handling of luggage, equipment, and supplies for various trips.
Manage communication with transportation partners and suppliers, ensuring smooth logistics processes.
Optimize travel routes to minimize environmental impact and maximize efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of travel itineraries, including schedules, contact details, and special requirements.
Assist in resolving logistical issues, such as delays, changes, and emergencies, in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics requirements with marketing and sales activities.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in travel management software and MS Office Suite.
A passion for sustainable travel and a commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices.
