Varsinais-Suomi Youth Foundation is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Sustainable Community Development Coordinator. Our foundation is committed to advancing socially responsible initiatives and preserving the environment. As the Sustainable Community Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in implementing sustainable projects that positively impact the local community.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable community development strategies
Collaborate with local stakeholders, including businesses, organizations, and educational institutions
Identify and evaluate potential projects aligned with our foundation's objectives
Coordinate fundraising activities and secure resources for sustainable projects
Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training programs related to sustainability
Monitor and evaluate the progress of ongoing sustainable initiatives
Prepare reports, grants, and proposals
Establish and maintain partnerships with government agencies and NGOs
Promote community engagement and raise awareness about sustainable practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, Sustainable Development)
Experience in project management and community development
Strong understanding of sustainability principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Passion for social responsibility and environmental issues
Proficiency in English and Finnish, both written and verbal
