Join Our Team: Water Conservation Specialist

Rhode Island Water Resources Board is hiring a skilled and motivated Water Conservation Specialist to contribute to our mission of protecting and preserving the state's water resources. As a Water Conservation Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient water usage, promoting sustainability, and reducing environmental impact.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement water conservation programs and initiatives
Conduct research and analysis to identify water management challenges and opportunities
Collaborate with stakeholders to raise awareness about water conservation strategies
Evaluate current water systems and practices to identify areas for improvement
Create educational materials and provide training on water conservation techniques
Monitor and analyze water consumption data to track progress and identify trends
Advocate for water policy reform and sustainable water management practices

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Water Resources Management, Environmental Science, or Ecology
Proven experience in water conservation, sustainable practices, or related areas
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong partnerships
Knowledge of water legislation and regulations is a plus
