Stantec, a leading design and consulting firm, is seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team in Nova Scotia. We are looking for a creative problem solver and forward thinker to take on the role of Production Strategist.

As a Production Strategist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technologists, to identify opportunities for enhancing production strategies and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement innovative production strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure production strategies align with business objectives
Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses to evaluate the impact of proposed strategies
Lead process improvement initiatives by developing action plans and coordinating implementation efforts
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions that drive competitive advantage

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or operations role
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful production strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
