Position: Environmental Stewardship Officer

Job Description:

Develop and implement sustainable practices within the agricultural sector
Collaborate with farmers and rural communities to promote environmentally friendly farming techniques
Evaluate and mitigate potential environmental risks associated with agricultural activities
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Provide guidance and support to farmers in adopting sustainable farming practices
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainable agriculture

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, or a related field
Proven experience in sustainable agriculture or environmental stewardship
Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and their environmental impact
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Fluency in German and English
