Position: Safety and Compliance Officer
At Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, we are committed to making a difference in people's lives while upholding a strong sense of social responsibility. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Safety and Compliance Officer. This role holds vital importance in ensuring the security and well-being of our hospital and its patients while focusing on our environmental impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security protocols
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
- Evaluate and improve emergency response procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with staff to promote a safe working environment
- Oversee monitoring systems and security personnel
- Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities
- Assess effectiveness of existing safety measures
- Introduce innovative solutions to enhance safety and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a related field (law enforcement, military, security)
- Strong knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
