Job Description:

We are excited to announce an opportunity to become a part of the Southern Highlands Cultural Center, located in the picturesque Southern Highlands region of Iceland. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Cultural Insights Specialist. Your role will involve exploring and analyzing cultural trends, behaviors, and preferences to enhance our visitor experiences and contribute to our mission of promoting Icelandic culture.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive research on cultural trends, market dynamics, and visitor preferences.
Analyze data related to visitor feedback, surveys, and other sources to identify patterns and insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that align with cultural insights.
Provide recommendations on future program development, exhibitions, and events based on research findings.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform decision-making.
Prepare reports and presentations highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in conducting research and analysis within the cultural or tourism sector.
Proficiency in utilizing various research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a diverse team.
Prior experience in project management is advantageous.
