At JUDO, we are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Aquatic Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and care of aquatic organisms in various settings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the maintenance of aquatic systems, including aquariums, ponds, and other aquatic environments.
- Ensure proper water quality, temperature, and nutrition for aquatic organisms.
- Monitor and analyze water parameters, identifying and addressing any abnormalities or issues.
- Perform regular health checks on aquatic species, including disease prevention and treatment.
- Create and implement feeding regimes that meet the nutritional requirements of different aquatic animals.
- Develop and maintain documentation on aquatic care procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biology, Marine Science, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
- Prior experience in working with aquatic organisms and maintaining aquatic environments.
- Expertise in water quality analysis and understanding of the impact on aquatic species.
- Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations regarding the care of aquatic animals.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in German and English.
