Position: Global Supply Chain Coordinator
At Ocean Tracking Network, we specialize in tracking and monitoring marine animals globally. As a Global Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of equipment, resources, and data necessary for our research projects worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the procurement, shipping, and delivery of tracking devices, sensors, and related equipment to OTN research sites across the globe.
- Collaborate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to optimize logistics and transportation processes.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and manage customs documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking device serial numbers, maintenance logs, and calibration schedules.
- Monitor shipment timelines, resolve any issues that arise, and communicate updates to the project teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain coordination, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
