Your Role:

Develop and implement robust defense strategies to protect Voorschoten's assets, infrastructure, and citizens.
Analyze potential threats, evaluate risks, and design proactive security measures.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, military personnel, and emergency services, to ensure effective safeguarding of the municipality.
Stay updated on the latest security technologies, industry practices, and innovations.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for enhancing defense capabilities.
Train and educate personnel on security protocols and emergency response procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Strategic Studies, International Relations, or Public Administration.
Proven experience in a similar strategic role, preferably in a military or defense capacity.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Up-to-date knowledge of security technologies, risk management, and crisis response.
Proficiency in data analysis, strategic planning, and project management.
Ability to adapt swiftly to changing security environments and emerging threats.
A proactive mindset with a sense of responsibility and integrity.
