We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our friendly and collaborative team at the North Carolina Highway Historical Marker Program. We are currently seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Digital Experience Engineer.
As a Digital Experience Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our digital platforms, ensuring an exceptional user experience for our audience. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to design, implement, and optimize innovative solutions that showcase the rich history of North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our website and mobile applications
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to deliver engaging digital experiences
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices
- Optimize website performance and ensure high availability
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Knowledge of back-end development and databases
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
