We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our diverse and inclusive team at Monte Cervino Ski Gear Shop located in the beautiful Aosta Valley of Italy. We are currently seeking a passionate individual to fulfill the role of Community Outreach Coordinator, a position that combines elements of engagement, education, and fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement outreach programs targeting local communities, schools, and social organizations
Coordinate and lead workshops, seminars, and events to promote recreational activities and outdoor sports
Collaborate with local government agencies and non-profit organizations to enhance community engagement and support
Establish and maintain partnerships with diverse cultural groups, emphasizing our commitment to inclusivity and cultural exchange
Create and oversee volunteer programs, providing opportunities for individuals to give back to the community
Identify and pursue grant opportunities to support community-focused initiatives
Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the impact of outreach programs and recommend improvements

Requirements:

Prior experience in community outreach or engagement roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and engage with a diverse range of individuals
A passion for outdoor sports and recreational activities, with knowledge of skiing gear and equipment a plus
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with the local cultural landscape and experience working with multicultural communities
Proficiency in Italian and English languages, both written and spoken
Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, as required
