Position Available: Community Environmental Steward
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Environmental Steward. As a steward, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to create a greener and more sustainable future for our community.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing and managing sustainable farming practices
- Providing guidance and support to local farmers on efficient resource utilization
- Developing and conducting educational programs on environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture
- Collaborating with community members, organizations, and government agencies to promote sustainable initiatives
- Assessing and monitoring the impact of agricultural practices on the environment
- Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to minimize environmental footprint
Qualifications:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, or a related field
- Prior experience in agricultural or rural settings
- Strong knowledge of sustainable farming practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for environmental conservation and community engagement
