Position: Environmental Stewardship Specialist

We are currently hiring for the position of Environmental Stewardship Specialist. As an Environmental Stewardship Specialist, you will play a key role in driving our district’s sustainability initiatives, promoting environmental awareness, and implementing energy-saving practices. This position will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing strategies to reduce energy consumption within our schools
Assessing the district's environmental impact and identifying areas for improvement
Collaborating with staff and students to facilitate environmental education programs
Researching and recommending innovative solutions for eco-friendly practices
Monitoring compliance with environmental regulations and policies

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
Strong knowledge of energy conservation practices and environmental legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in project management and data analysis
Passion for environmental stewardship and the ability to inspire others
