Role Overview:

As the AgriTech Solutions Manager at Kenya Airways, you will play a crucial role in driving agricultural innovation and technology adoption within the rural sector. You will lead a team of talented professionals, collaborating with farmers, stakeholders, and technology partners to revolutionize farming practices and drive sustainable agricultural development.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to promote advanced agricultural technologies and practices that enhance productivity and profitability.
Collaborate with research institutions, startups, and government bodies to identify and leverage innovative AgriTech solutions.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on agricultural best practices to farmers, ensuring the adoption of efficient farming methods.
Manage projects aimed at improving crop quality, yield optimization, and supply chain efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AgriTech and provide recommendations for technology integration.
Conduct training workshops and awareness programs to empower rural communities with AgriTech skills.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AgriTech initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Agriculture, AgriTech, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing AgriTech projects, with a focus on bringing technology to rural areas.
Sound knowledge of agricultural processes, crop management, and supply chain operations.
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage teams and drive collaboration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with farmers, stakeholders, and technology partners.
In-depth understanding of emerging AgriTech solutions and a passion for applying technology in agriculture.
