Job Position: Community Engagement Specialist
As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in connecting with individuals and organizations in our region, fostering relationships, and promoting the importance of mental health and well-being. You will be responsible for:
- Conducting outreach initiatives to raise awareness about available mental health services and resources
- Collaborating with community partners to organize events, workshops, and seminars related to mental health
- Developing and implementing strategies to engage and educate the public on mental health issues
- Acting as a liaison between the Office of Behavioral Health and various stakeholders in the community
- Providing support and referrals to individuals seeking mental health assistance
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service, community engagement, or related fields
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of mental health resources and services is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
