Join Our Team as a Stellar Education Coordinator
We are seeking a talented individual who excels in communicating complex scientific concepts to a diverse audience. As a Stellar Education Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing and delivering educational programs that engage people of all ages and backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative educational initiatives focused on astronomy and astrophysics
- Create and deliver interactive workshops, lectures, and demonstrations
- Coordinate outreach activities to schools, universities, and the local community
- Maintain and update educational resources, including digital content and teaching materials
- Collaborate with other astronomers, educators, and volunteers to foster a vibrant learning environment
- Contribute to the organization of stargazing events and astronomical observations
- Facilitate and mentor students in research projects and astronomy competitions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in astronomy and astrophysics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Education, or a related field
- Strong passion for astronomy and excellent knowledge of current research
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in organizing and conducting educational programs
- Ability to engage and inspire diverse learners
- Proficiency in using astronomical software and tools
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
