Position: Animal Wellness Specialist

About the Position:

Contribute to the integration of pet therapy programs within our healthcare services
Work closely with healthcare providers in designing and implementing animal-assisted interventions to enhance patient outcomes
Provide training and guidance to hospital staff on animal safety protocols and best practices
Collaborate with community partners to develop innovative programs that promote the well-being of both patients and their animal companions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field
Valid certification or registration in animal-assisted therapy
Demonstrated knowledge in animal behavior and psychology
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Passion for promoting the integration of animals within the healthcare setting
