About us:

At the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, we are dedicated to the preservation and rehabilitation of Alaska's wildlife. Our center serves as a sanctuary for injured, orphaned, or displaced animals, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging communication strategies to effectively promote our mission and conservation efforts to the public
Create captivating content for social media platforms, website, press releases, and other communication channels
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community partners
Organize and coordinate outreach events, educational programs, and public speaking engagements
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and recommend improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support fundraising initiatives and donor engagement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., journalism, public relations, marketing)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create compelling and persuasive content
Experience in managing social media platforms and online communities
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Passion for wildlife conservation and environmental advocacy
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
