We are currently seeking a Wildlife Conservation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Wildlife Conservation Specialist will be responsible for the management and preservation of the park's biodiversity, with a focus on flora and fauna preservation. This position involves research, monitoring, and implementation of conservation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting wildlife surveys and monitoring population dynamics
  • Designing and implementing conservation programs and initiatives
  • Collaborating with local communities and stakeholders to promote conservation awareness and sustainable practices
  • Conducting research on endemic and endangered species
  • Managing wildlife-related conflicts and human-wildlife interactions
  • Assisting in the development of conservation policies and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Wildlife Management, Conservation Biology)
  • Experience in wildlife or environmental conservation
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of South Africa's biodiversity and conservation challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
