We are currently seeking a Wildlife Conservation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Wildlife Conservation Specialist will be responsible for the management and preservation of the park's biodiversity, with a focus on flora and fauna preservation. This position involves research, monitoring, and implementation of conservation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting wildlife surveys and monitoring population dynamics
Designing and implementing conservation programs and initiatives
Collaborating with local communities and stakeholders to promote conservation awareness and sustainable practices
Conducting research on endemic and endangered species
Managing wildlife-related conflicts and human-wildlife interactions
Assisting in the development of conservation policies and regulations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Wildlife Management, Conservation Biology)
Experience in wildlife or environmental conservation
Strong research and analytical skills
Knowledge of South Africa's biodiversity and conservation challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team
